During your daily activities, things can always go wrong. A customer might trip in your store or a visitor may get injured on your company premises.

What is the difference between Operational Liability Insurance and Professional Liability Insurance?

Operational liability covers damage during your activities. Professional liability covers financial loss due to errors in advice, studies, or design and is mandatory in some sectors.

Does BA Business Operations cover damage caused by my employees?

Yes. Damage caused by your employees during their work is in principle also insured, provided they are included in the insurance agreement.

Am I insured for damage to my own equipment?

No. Operational Liability Insurance only covers damage to third parties. For your own property, you need fire or machinery insurance.

How high should my insured capital be?

That depends on your activity and the potential amount of damages. We will advise you on a suitable insured amount so that you are not underinsured.

Is a business liability insurance mandatory?

No, this insurance is not legally required. In practice, however, it is indispensable for any company that runs the risk of third-party damage claims.
