Give all your employees the best possible protection in the event of an accident

In the event of an occupational accident, your employees can count on compensation for their medical costs and possible incapacity for work through the compulsory Occupational Accident Insurance. However, occupational accident insurance has a number of restrictions.

This insurance only provides cover in the case of an occupational accident in the strict sense of the word. However, with evolutions such as an increase in working from home, a grey area has arisen in which it is not always clear whether it concerns an occupational accident or a private accident.

Moreover, the compensation through Occupational Accident Insurance is subject to a certain legal ceiling. Especially for your employees with a higher salary, there is a risk of a large loss of income in the event of incapacity for work.

To offer your employees a comprehensive financial safety net in the event of an accident, you can extend their cover with a collective accident policy.

Which risks are covered by Collective Accident Insurance?

Collective Accident Insurance offers 24/7 cover against the financial consequences of an accident, also in the private lives of your employees. It pays compensation for:

  • medical expenses,
  • temporary incapacity for work,
  • permanent disability,
  • death.

In addition to this cover for accidents in the private sphere, your collective accident policy may also include a Legal Excess guarantee. This ensures that your employees whose wages exceed the statutory limit in the event of incapacity for work receive compensation for the part of their wages that exceeds the limit.

Finally, Collective Accident Insurance also offers a solution for your staff who are not subject to the legally required Occupational Accident Insurance.
